Christie
As a second-generation midwife, I grew up watching my mom care for families in a homebirth setting. Knowing my mom couldn’t provide that invaluable support to the community forever, I felt called to follow in her footsteps. I completed my midwifery education in 2018 and founded Cambridge Midwifery Care the same year. It is my passion to help women feel triumphant and empowered about their birth experience while encouraging families to become involved, educated and bonded.
In 2019, I was given the sacred gift of witnessing a friend’s homebirth. The experience changed my life! It didn’t take long to realize my calling in life was to be a midwife. With the support of Christie and several amazing midwives in the community, my dream of becoming a Licensed Midwife came true! I am honored to serve alongside Christie and I am grateful for the opportunity to empower families while welcoming babies Earthside in a safe environment filled with love and support.

What we Offer
Prenatal Care
Our 60-minute prenatal appointments in our home-like clinic are filled with individualized education and support for you and your growing baby. We offer routine labs, tests and ultrasounds, as well as Childbirth Education Classes to ensure you have all the tools you need to feel empowered to bring your baby Earthside with confidence.
Labor and Delivery
During your labor and birth, our two-midwife team will be there to support you every step of the way. You are encouraged to birth in whatever position feels best for you with options of using one of our waterbirth tubs or birth stools. If you desire, our midwives strive to capture your birth journey with professional quality photographs.
Placenta Encapsulation Services and Artwork
The placenta can support postpartum wellness by replenishing your body with natural iron and protein, as well as reintroducing essential hormones back into your system. Cambridge Midwifery Care offers placenta services including encapsulation, tincture and beautiful artwork.
Postpartum Care
Cambridge Midwifery Care offers in-home postpartum care for you and baby. During the 6-weeks following your birth, we will ensure you and your baby are transitioning well and thriving. This includes postpartum exams, newborn exams, any desired newborn procedures, emotional support, breastfeeding support and much more!
Capturing your Birth
Birth is a transformative event filled with beauty, power and love. The midwives at Cambridge Midwifery Care strive to capture those beautiful and sacred moments when you meet your baby for the very first time with professional quality photographs.
